Voramar: new outdoor fabrics inspired by the Mediterranean
The choice of fabric influences how an outdoor space is perceived. Its colour and texture complement the lines of the furniture, work with the architecture and create continuity between the different areas of a project. Voramar, Balliu’s new collection of Textilene fabrics, expands these possibilities with six options inspired by the light, landscapes and natural elements of the Mediterranean, where our roots lie and which shapes our understanding of outdoor living. A palette of organic greens, mineral blues and earthy tones that brings depth and understated elegance to outdoor furniture.
Mediterranean inspiration for outdoor spaces around the world
Voramar draws on the shades of vegetation, the sea and the earth, bringing them together in a contemporary palette. Its colours and textures allow different relationships with the surroundings to be explored: complementing the warmth of wood, introducing a contrast with concrete or creating continuity with a garden. This inspiration lends itself to diverse architectural styles and landscapes. From an urban hotel terrace to a resort swimming pool or a residential garden, the collection offers new ways to make furniture part of each space’s identity. The six new Textilene fabrics offer the same performance as the 16 Balliu fabrics in the current catalogue. Voramar is expanding its range of colours and textures whilst retaining the fabric properties our customers are already familiar with.
Six fabrics, a shared sensibility
Salvia, Bosco, Indigo, Oasis, Terra and Adobe are the names of the six Voramar fabrics. Each belongs to a shared palette, conceived to explore different intensities and combinations. The choice can begin with a material already present in the space. Light-coloured stone and mineral finishes provide a backdrop against which to introduce colour. Wood and ceramics lend themselves to warm compositions. Planting can suggest a harmonious colour scheme or provide a contrasting accent.
The arrangement of the furniture matters too. Repeating the same fabric helps bring unity to a poolside area. Combining several shades can distinguish different settings within a project while maintaining a visual connection between them. Voramar offers this starting point: a selection of colours with a shared inspiration and room for different interpretations.
Launched alongside Alba, designed for the whole range
Voramar launches alongside the new Alba sun lounger, bringing together two expressions of Balliu’s evolving design: the lines of the furniture and the nuances of the fabric. The fabric collection is available across the Balliu product range with fabric options. Its six designs make it possible to carry a consistent colour approach across different pieces and areas of a project. Alba marks its first joint launch. Voramar’s possibilities extend to the rest of the collection.
Renew the fabric, rethink the colour
In an already furnished space, changing the fabric can also open a new aesthetic chapter. A relaxation area can take on a different character by introducing a warmer shade, reconnecting with the planting or bringing the furniture together through a new palette. If you are looking for replacement fabric for a sun lounger, choosing the colour is also an opportunity to rethink how the furniture relates to its surroundings. The Voramar collection expands the choice of Textilene fabrics for refreshing the overall appearance while maintaining the same performance as Balliu’s existing fabrics.
Voramar in your next project
The collection invites you to consider outdoor spaces through their nuances: the colour that complements a façade, the texture appreciated up close and the relationship between furniture and landscape. Contact Balliu to explore the Voramar options for your furniture or your next project.
