In 1968, Balliu Export was born near the Costa Brava, thanks to the vision of our founders, Josep Balliu García and Carme Balliu Falgueras. From the start, our goal has been clear: to offer high-quality outdoor furniture solutions, functional and environmentally friendly.
Balliu originated from the issue of wooden loungers, which lacked durability and quality. To solve this problem, our founder, Mr. Josep Balliu, created the first iron lounger, producing a durable and practical product for outdoor use. Our innovative and resilient products quickly gained followers in the national market, leading to international expansion in 1986.
In 1987, Mr. Josep Balliu once again revolutionized the market by replacing iron with polypropylene. Plastic injection reduced manufacturing time, meeting the high demand for Balliu products. Today, we are an established company with more than 55 years of experience specializing in outdoor furniture, both nationally and internationally.
